Tips in Making Cake Batter Cookies by Jelie Osorio
The cake batter offers the best solution to the traditional homemade cookie recipe. A lot of people encounter huge success when they are baking homemade cookies. This is because baking cookies is very simple and fun to do. For first timers, making cookies is an opportunity for you to learn how to bake. There are still a lot of ways to bake delicious and tasty homemade cookies. In fact, you can even shorten the process of making a cookie even if it is already an easy task to make a cookie in a traditional way. The secret for a cookie-making shortcut is by using cake mix for your cookie recipes. Using cake mix provides an easier way around sifting the salt, baking soda and flour together and hoping that the cookies will rise properly. It is also a good idea to use cake mix because your cookies will never turn out flat since cake mix is specially formulated to rise just a few inches. If you continue using cake mix, you will surely be a hit to your family and friends.
Below are some tips in making cake batter cookies.
Ingredients and things that are needed:
1 box of cake mix (any flavor, depending on your preferences)
A Mixing bowl, medium size
2 whole eggs
A Hand mixer
1/2 cup of oil
A measuring cup
Wax paper
A spatula
A Tablespoon
Bread dough beaters
Nut Cookies and Chocolate Chip
Baking sheet
Instructions:
1. The first thing you have to do every time you are baking is to preheat the oven. You must do this to prevent waiting once the ingredients are properly prepared. For this type of cookie, you must preheat the oven up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, you must attach the bread dough beaters to you electric or hand mixer. You must make your preparation station ready by placing all the needed things and ingredients there. Just set out the cake mix, eggs and oil. Moreover, lay out the spatula, mixer, tablespoon and measuring cup. You must also use only a medium-sized bowl to mix all of the ingredients.
2. Add the nuts on the cake batter. While the oven is still heating, prepare the baking sheet. Use a non-stick sheet or you can line an ordinary baking sheet with wax paper. Another option is to lightly oil the cookie sheet if you do not have wax paper. Dust the all-purpose flour on the pan. In addition, you must shake the excess flour. Then, set this aside and prepare the cookies.
3. The next thing you should do is to combine the oil, eggs and the cake mix. Stir the mixture on medium speed for about two to three minutes. After this, scrape the sides of the bowl using a spatula while you are mixing it so that you will have an even consistency within the cookie batter.
4. Just scoop small portions of cookie dough using the tablespoon. Then, drop the spoonfuls on the baking sheet and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.
5. Allow the cookies to cool. Once it is all set, you can now serve the cake batter cookies.
