does anyone know a recipe for double chocolate chip zucchini cake? ?
I went to this little restraunt when we were on vaccation and I had double choclate chip zuchini cake and it was nothing short of Amazing it was very choclatie and it was very moist! it was wonderful! I was just curious if anyone else had made this and has the recipe handy! thanks in advance!
I like this because I found other recipes with buttermilk or sour cream allow a sharp bitter taste to the cake, although it might be enjoyable for a breakfast bread.
Double Chocolate Zucchini Cake
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 cup grated zucchini
6 oz chocolate chips
Combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt. Cream butter and sugar; beat in oil, eggs and vanilla. Add the milk while alternating with dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
Pour into greased 9×13 baking pan and sprinkle chips over top.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
